I am not a morning person, in any way, shape, or form.  My alarm goes off at 6:30, but I can still barely get up before 7.

With that said, I want to start working out in the mornings, before work.  I know that is not going to be feasible with my usual start time (7am), so starting tomorrow, my shift will begin at 9:am

That will give me time to wake up, down a pot of coffee, work out, shower, and maybe run some small errands before I commit to sitting in front of the computer and work for the next 8-12 hours.

I don’t mind working out in the afternoon or evening, but I find myself not really feeling like working overtime afterwards, which I kind of need to keep doing right now.  And I don’t want to work out too late, after work, because then I won’t be able to sleep.

So we’ll see how this goes…

This morning I weighed in at 307.4 lbs

Is it 299?  No.

Is it better than it was yesterday?  Yes.

Is it better than it was last week?  No.

I definitely let my change of plans this weekend get the best of me.  Yeah, packing and moving stuff was a good workout, but we pretty much ate crap all weekend, as the kitchen was packed up.

299 may be a little farther, but it is on the horizon…and I’m coming for it.

…a weigh in.

I promised last week that I’d be at 299 by Saturday, and then I promised that I’d weigh in today after having to go out of town this weekend…

…but honestly? I stepped on the scale this morning and it kind of freaked me out.  My diet may not have been super fantastic, but I don’t think it warranted what I saw this morning.

So I’m going to take today to flush out the system, and hopefully get back to a more realistic number.  Even if it’s not 299, it’s gotta be better than what I saw this morning.

So, weigh in tomorrow.  I promise.  For real.
